Oh LORD, what do you want to say over this New Year?

My child, stay in Me and trust that I will lead and guide you.
Let humility mark your life.
This will open the doors for impact in ministry.

I will lead and guide you.
Do not doubt this.
Do not get frustrated when things don’t work out as quickly as you want them to.

Remember that it’s in the waiting that you have the opportunity to lean into me and My resources
and that I strengthen you.
It’s in the waiting and seeking Me that you grow and glean the most.
So, embrace these times.

Celebrate them and expect Me to show up and pour out upon you.
It sounds simple but it’s true.
This is the way of My Kingdom.

You will have opportunities to veer and cave if you don’t stay fixed on Me and My ways.
See beyond what is before you.
See beyond what seems right and just… or unfair.
See from My perspective.
See from My vantage point and you will:

stay on track;
and the enemy will have no ground to move in your life when you are motivated by My love and the way of My Spirit.

Let this—let Me—be your standard.

Love never fails.
Love will not leave you empty or feeling stranded.

Let Me define what love looks like though.
Love does not mean your always feel great or get what you want.
This is what the world says love is.

But in My Kingdom love gives.
Love extends itself—often beyond what is convenient or comfortable.
Love sacrifices and defers gratification for a greater good.

Know that when you love others from My wellspring of love you will never be dry or feel empty.
You will feel full and satisfied and strong.

Receive from Me and give, My true one.
Let Me show you the way in which you should go and it will be well with you all the days of your life.

Stay in Me this will be a good, good year.
