LORD, since You are our Savior, Healer and Deliverer, why don’t we get more immediate answers when we pray according to Your Word?

My one, remember that I Am Love, so everything that I do is in the context of this powerful truth.

When people ask Me for something, they often want an immediate solution for a problem they’re facing. There is nothing wrong this.
Ask. Pray. Seek. Pursue all that I am, and all that I have.

It is My delight to release “suddenlies” that bring quick alignment—like someone getting a chiropractic adjustment.

But if you do not see an immediate shift in the circumstances you’re praying about, KNOW that I am doing something deeper.

Sometimes, what is really needed is not a quick fix that relieves a difficulty. Sometimes, what is needed is a process that builds strength and maturity in a person’s life—like someone working out, pressing through the pain of cardio and weight training.

What develops inside of you as you work through something, cannot be given… by anyone—not even Me!

Yes, I am sovereign so I can give you an immediate gift of strength, for example, but a gift of strength does not mean that you are strong. True strength can only be developed; it cannot be given. Likewise, I cannot give you maturity; I cannot give you endurance or perseverance. I cannot give you sanctification. These things only come through the maturing process of choosing to follow Me in the midst of your difficulty.

So the next time you ask for something that is in alignment with My Word, and it looks like
   I am not answering your prayer… seek Me. Do not get discouraged, or hopeless.
   Ask Me what I am doing in it.

Instead of simply focusing on what you want, ask Me what My plan is in your situation. “Call to Me and I will answer and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.” Jeremiah 33:3

…And, notice that God told Jeremiah this when he was in prison.
