Principles of God's Government
God's government is most simply how God reigns over His creation.
- It's His ways... it's how He lives
- It's the rule of His Kingdom (on earth as it is in heaven)
- It's Wisdom personified
- It's the standard for how we: live, relate, and make decisions in life.
You are learning to trust Me.
So trust...
Trust that I am orchestrating everything that concerns you.
Every part of your call and destiny.
And this will be easy to do IN MY LOVE!
Live for another time.
Live for eternity through your prayers binding the evil
and releasing My heart of mercy and kindness.
You are seeing things all around you that you would not see if you were not walking this path that you’re on.
Everyone has a journey with much before them.
There are treasures on each of your paths to find and share with others.
Stay positioned under Me… in Me… and My light will shine upon you in all you do.
This is where My favor resides.
This is where people can see Me through you.
You came.
You were born in poverty and lived with your parents as aliens in a foreign land—escaping danger to preserve Your young life.
You endured it all—the misunderstanding of those who thought you were illegitimate.
The mocking. The disregard. The rejection.
…You came for us.
Remember, you become filled and permeated with My glory when you glorify Me..
Everything is held together by My glory.
So when you give Me the glory that I am—that I carry—it aligns everything within you.
When I exalt Jesus in any part of my life,
I give Him a place to rule—there—in that particular area.
When I lift Him up in that place, He has free reign to do whatever He wants there.
Your Word created the foundations of the world.
It’s the axis of all that is, and all that will ever be.
And LORD, when You speak, everything changes.
…LORD, send forth Your Word!
Priceless is something beyond what you can access or attain on your own.
There is a priceless gift awaiting you.
What is it?
Loved by God, but lost in sin, how do we receive it?
The biggest thing in life is living before God.
It’s having our gaze fixed on Him.
It’s staying fixed on what He says is the most important.
Love.
Loving Him and loving others.
When we fix our gaze on the One who is everything, we have everything we need.
There are some things that will always be in your heart,
but if you let Me hold them for you, and you choose to live with your gaze locked onto Mine,
you will see these things from My perspective...
And, My one,
know that I will never ask you for something just because I don't want you to have it.
~ If I ask you for something that means that I have something better,
something greater,
something that has more eteranl purpose
& substance that I am inviting you to be a part of.
I felt like He continued to say,
"This is not so much a sin issue, as it is an alignment issue.
~ If you resist the thought, you will be stepping into a place of strength, authority, and discernment in the spirit that will be marked in the heavenly realm.
~ If you don’t resist it, this will also be noted in the heavenly realm, and the enemy will know that he has a voice in your life."
Your soul was not made to be filled with food or drink—therefore, it cannot be.
Trying to fill your internal self with an external substance
is like trying to quench your thirst with oil.
It does not have the capacity to satisfy you.
Sin lies.
It offers you connection, acceptance, and fulfillment.
It offers pleasure, prestige, and strength.
It offers you to “be all that,” and a bag of chips, too.
It offers a better life.
But what it really gives you is an illusion.
Sometimes… people are a lot like fish.
Jesus often talked about fish, and fishing.
“Follow Me, and I will make you become fishers of men.” (Mark 1:17)
Considering the parallel…
· Where do you swim?
· What do you feed on?
What’s so surprising about hell?
The big surprising difference is that here on earth—whether people realize it or not—everyone innately relies, and even depends, upon the presence of God.
Many would argue this. But please, consider with me:
· the faithfulness of the sunrise
· the reliability of sowing and reaping
· the expectation of rain
· the ability to experience (or at least observe) love
Here on earth, everything, even the most horrific suffering, is experienced in the context of God’s creation.
Faith:
· understands
· waits
· sacrifices
· obtains a witness
· testifies
· speaks
· takes us places
· pleases God
Since Roger and I wrote Purity by Design we have had many conversations with people about how they can live free from the bondage of sin. Many people have the experience of asking for forgiveness and repenting… only to find that after a period of time they fall back into sin again.
The question isn’t: how you get free? The real question is: How do you stay free?
All sin begins with a lie.
This is a bold statement. Is it really true?
Can you think of any example of sin that did not begin with a lie?
A lie brought sin to Adam and Eve.
Why a lie? Why is a lie attached to every sin?
This is how it works.
Satan tempts us with pleasure—a sinful pleasure, anything that gratifies ourselves above God will do. He tempts us to open the door of our heart and embrace this desire… that promises to satisfy and fulfill us.
If we open the door and invite the sinful pleasure in, it will gladly come in and entice us… but it does not come in alone. Here is the hitch: when we open the door to let the pleasure in, we are blinded by our desire and do not see that satan has attached himself to this “feel good” thing.
Is it possible that our passions—the things for which we long—are from God?
Is it possible that the things we want to be, and do, and have… are actually God’s desire for us?
Is it possible that the things that we enjoy—the music, art, sports, writing, nature, animals, business, inventing things, fashion, hanging out with people, being romantic, having a family—are God-given desires that we are suppose to pursue?
One of God's profound Kingdom principles is understanding the weapons of our warfare. I have found that joy--yes joy--is one of our most powerful and offensive weapons.
Why? What makes it so powerful? Simply the enemy has no context for joy.
If you lift the people up that are around you... God will shower favor and blessing upon you.
If you create a culture like this in your family, business, church, or organization...it will thrive.
Any time we start a task, we must:
1) remember who we are
2) remember the goal that we want to accomplish
This is God's way; this is what He does. He is intentional. He has a vision; a purpose; and a plan. He knows how He wants things to end up, and He functions with that in mind. May we live from this model and perspective in life!
Here you are My child and you have the favor of your Father.
You have the Almighty within you and you will do great and mighty exploits.
Here you will have answers for yourself... and others.
