My child, do you see that there’s no sting in Me?

No matter what is going on in your life,
no matter how you wish things were different,
when you are in Me, you are covered.

I am the protection of your heart and soul between what you want and what you have.
I am the “skin” that keeps the nerves of your heart from being exposed to the disappointment that you’d feel outside of My protective covering.

I know you are waiting,
but the waiting in Me does not have to be a writhing, empty longing where you feel cheated and discarded.

This is the waiting of the world that so quickly turns into comparison and bitterness.
This is what the enemy wants you to get sucked into and stuck in.

But, in Me, this is not where you will land.
In fact, in Me, it is the opposite.
In Me, the waiting becomes a place of strength and connection.
In Me, the waiting becomes a secret place where mysteries are revealed and your security and identity are established—for all eternity.

“But those who wait on the Lord
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint.” Isaiah 40:31
